| This morning, February 25, 2024, at approximately 05:36 hrs, Department 21 was requested to relocate an engine along with manpower to cover the Village of Spring Valley
This request came in as Department 17 (SVFD) and numerous other mutual aid companies were operating at a multi-alarm structure fire.
Within minutes after dispatch, the members of the Volunteer Fire Association of Tappan assembled, forming a full crew, which allowed 21-1502 to relocate to 17-101
(SV H&L).
By 07:10 hrs, Department 21 was released by 17-Command, allowing 21-1502 to return to the Tappan Fire District.
Great work by the Spring Valley Fire Department and all mutual aid companies involved! |
