| 21-1502 was on the road responding within minutes and while enroute to Havestraw, 21-1502 was redirected to Dept 3’s area (Congers). Once on scene 21-1502 secured a water supply and operated the deck gun towards the burning brush. Crews then pulled off the rear and stretched towards the train tracks. Once having an attack line in place we were able to extinguish all burning brush as well as eliminate any potential threat to the unburned area’s. All departments 21 units cleared from the scene around 19:00 hours Great work by all units involved! We would like to thank the EMS crews who kept our crew hydrated and energized throughout the operation! |
