It is with a heavy heart that the Volunteer Fire Association of Tappan announces the passing of Life Member and Past President, Robert "Doc" Schelin.

Doc was an instrumental part of the life blood Orangetown. One would be hard pressed to find someone that attended St. Thomas Aquinas College during his tenure that does not name him as their favorite professor. Doc, you will be sorely missed.

Visiting hours are Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 3-8 PM at Pizzi Funeral Home with Firematic services taking place at 7pm, 120 Paris Avenue, Northvale, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 11, 2022 at 11 AM at the Tappan Reformed Church with interment to follow at Tappan Cemetery.
