On Tuesday February 27th the Tappan fire Department was requested to send an engine to the scene of a working dumpster and trailer fire. Upon arriving on scene we were notified that there were currently 3 trailers fully engulfed in flames and were ordered to stretch hand lines and assist in overhaul. Crews spent several hours trying to knock down the fire. Firefighters from Tappan were released from the scene around 18:00 hours.
