Early afternoon on Friday February 23rd the Tappan Fire Department was called to the masonic grounds for a worker trapped in a dumpster. Firefighters on scene were able to remove the victim who was pinned between a construction chute and the wall of the dumpster and handed him over to South Orangetown Ambulance, where he was transported to Nyack Hospital in critical condition and the scene was turned over to Orangetown Police for their investigation.
