On October 6 just before 3:00 am Tappan Fire Department was requested to respond to Pearl River for a structure fire. 21-2 responded right to the scene and notified the crew responding where they were needed. The crew arrived on scene and relieved the crew that was currently inside the residence. The fire was being continuously fed by a broken gas line. Orange and Rockland arrived on scene and was able to cut the gas to the house and the fire was extinguished completely. Department 21 was released from the scene.
