At the regularly scheduled meeting of the town board on October 13, 2015, multiple departments/agencies were awarded unit citations for their joint efforts at the structure fire that took place at Cortwood Village in Orangeburg, July 25, 2015. Among the many recipients, Tappan FD was awarded a unit citation, which was humbly accepted by Assistant Chief Wayne Werner.
