Car vs. Deer

On the evening of November 5th, 2016 at approximately 17:40 hours, Tappan F.D. was dispatched to a reported car fire on the Palisades Parkway. Upon arrival Chief Werner (21-1) established command and advised there was no car fire but a 1 vehicle accident involving a deer. As the picture indicates the deer created heavy damage to the front vehicle but luckily the driver was not injured. All units were released within 30 minutes of arrival on scene.
