Upon arrival, fire was located inside a commercial garage and Piermont FD was reassigned to assist our department members with extinguishing the fire and overhaul with extra assistance from Orangeburg FD.

Old Tappan FD and Northvale FD were requested to standby at our firehouse and eventually Old Tappan FD was requested to relocate to the scene and provide FAST coverage.

Thank you to the Orangetown Police Department, South Orangetown Ambulance Corps, Orangetown Fire Inspector, Rockland County Sheriff’s Arson Investigator, Orange and Rockland who were all on scene as well.

All fire units were clear and available from the scene shortly before 8pm.
